Now that sounds and looks good! So you selling soap now too?

Nah, no room in my life to do that even if I wanted to. It would mean sacrificing precious time with the family and that’s not going to happen.
I’m more than happy just messing about making for myself and giving the odd puck out. I can produce the soap to my own requirements. I’m not a perfumer and never will be, again, no time nor inclination. What I can do though is produce single note soaps which use nice materials. Oud is a perfume in itself for example and I’ll very shortly have 4 different regional Oud soaps to choose from.

Replated Eclipse Red Ring received today. Thanks @Mark1966 .:) One for the Vintage Team. Should be some good mileage left in this one yet.

How much would something like that cost me? And where would I find one.
Very good question. This one found me. I’d assumed it unobtainium as the last ones I saw on eBay were up around $280 with cracks in the handles.
Just keep your eye out for one. Some fellas have found them in markets. Sorry that’s a bit unhelpful but they have been hard to get a hold of for some years.

Glad it arrived safe and sound!

Dave at Restored Razors did a great job I think. It will certainly have many years of life in it!

As Bruce has said these do turn up from time to time on eBay. We get a few locally as a former British colony - the rest in the UK.

They are not common and very collectible with case etc. I took a punt on this one (poor photos, partly obscured etc, no case) and when it arrived it had a fair bit of plate loss and a hairline crack in the handle. Dave sorted that out and it is now a great user with a a lot of life left!
