Hey @SpeedyPC any movement on this delivery yet?
Nothing at the moment still haven’t received a tracking number yet, because the delivery still hasn’t been sent yet.

Read below from Rockwell received this email last week.

Dear Backers,

We’re thrilled to share a quick update on our continued Model T shipping as more and more backers continue to receive their pledge rewards! Just a quick review in case you’ve missed the last few updates: The Model T razors with the One-Piece T-Bar and other engineering improvements detailed in our recent updates have solved all our outstanding concerns, and we are continuing to ship the White Chrome Model T razors!

We wanted to keep you all updated on the shipping process for the remaining razors. We’ve shipped out the majority of the White Chrome Model T pledge rewards, and expect to ship outstanding Gunmetal and Brushed Chrome pledges in waves starting at beginning of December. We’ve been working diligently with our manufacturing partners, engineering, assembly and QC teams to open up a second assembly line to get the accurate assembly you all expect rolling even faster than our current assembly rate.

We did want to share one quick note on shipping and communication as we’ve begun international shipping. While we’ve done our best to ensure a seamless process to get Model T razors from our facilities into your hands, the nuances and unpredictability of international shipping are bound to intervene in small ways on occasion. We’ve had a few backers mention in the comments their concern that their Model T was misplaced in transit, and we want to help in any of these cases! If you have questions about your Model T shipment, please feel free to reach out to info@rockwellrazors.comand we’ll help out as soon as possible.

As always, please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help as we come down the home stretch of fulfilling all the remaining pledge rewards to you, our valued backers!

The Rockwell Razors Team

Well, I got my tracking number a couple of weeks ago and the shipment finally showed up today.

Imagine my excitement when I opened it to find an EMPTY BLOODY BOX. 100 blades and a blade bank, but oops! We forgot to pack the actual razor. Quite a few comments on Kickstarter from people with the same problem. These guys are clowns.

That's fucking ridiculous.

Well that must be because ...

misplaced in transit!

Seriously?

Glad I bailed, sorry for those waiting ...

You couldn’t make this shit up!

I’ve emailed them, so we’ll see how long it takes to get sorted. It speaks volumes for their QC, or I should say, the lack thereof...
OR! Maybe some arsehole from custom or postage department may have hacked your package and stole your Model T

Well, seems Rockwell despatched a replacement razor the day I emailed them. It’s taken another 21 long days, but it is finally here! They actually exist!

I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but tomorrow I’ll chuck in a GSB and give it a whirl :)

OH my God it's alive it's alive. Oh come on only 3 years almost in the making it's now classified as a Vintage Model T like the dam car lolololol. So now to await a local to test run it. Let's hope it's all it hyped up to be. Yet I recently saw video review on it in comparison to the Rex Ambassador and it was not in the same league the Rex being a lot more of a Razor than the T will aspire to for the money.

First impression, it’s hefty and seems to be well put together. The door mechanism is nice and smooth and the adjustment dial was smooth.

I didn’t notice any looseness in the mechanicals, doors are well aligned and even. With a new GSB blade in place, there’s an even amount of blade showing on each side.

Having not used an adjustable previously, I started with it set on #3 and began the shave on a 2-day growth. #3 may have been a little ambitious first up. There was a lot more blade feel than I was expecting, but the first pass was completed with only minor blood loss.

Dialled back to #2 for the second pass and found it similar to my normal shave. Doing the top lip and under the nose was a little awkward. I couldn’t easily use just the edge of the razor under the nose as the doors extend 1-2mm further each side compared to a Standard razor. Ended with a couple of weepers on the lip and chin after this pass.

Did a 3rd pass mainly to clean up around the neck. Stemmed the blood loss with an alum stick.

Overall, quite happy with it, but more practice required to get used to it, and I’ll stick to #2 until I get the hang of it.

Latest update on KS suggests they are still on track to have ALL orders shipped by the end of Feb - KS, IG and getrockwell.com pre-orders.
Key point is that they still have 8000 orders to ship. They expect to have the three major sub-assemblies (the adjustment dial, the one-piece T-bar and doors, and the TTO) for all 8000 orders assembled in the next week (by end of Jan). This will allow them to move their whole assembly team to the final assembly line, ramping up shipping rates.

No mention of how many razors HAVE shipped, nor any mention of some backers receiving empty boxes.

After seeing photos of the brushed chrome, I've emailed Rockwell asking if my Gunmetal order can be changed to brushed chrome. Looks mint.

Anybody got any updates on the Model T ?
I almost forgot that I had backed this way back and not even had any updates since the 1-02-17
Cheers
Tony.
