Post: Zingari Man Unscented Balm

The lather today was again top quality but it did begin to dry out ever so slightly when i got to the final parts to shave on my lower lip, just have a quick swipe of the brush and run it over the face to get any required lather back to scratch.

Finished with the latest product i bought from Zingari Man. This balm is incredible stuff! Easily the best balm i have used! It goes on with ease and no sticky or cloying feel. I had some concerns putting this on when its tipped to go over 40 degs today, but it dried in so fast its no as if i have a balm on. Next time maggards has their discounted international shipping, i'll be throwing in another few of these babies....

A repeat for the last two days except for yesterday I used Proraso white and today the green. That and the GPS/ Perma Sharp blade now has 10 shaves on it and still was a comfortable shave though I did have to fiddle a bit more finishing off. That's more than enough for me, was great till about shave No#8.

B&M Nordost - an ode to oranges

This soap base is super slick and totally awesome. As for the scent, I decided this morning that it was like sitting next to a campfire, drinking a smoky whisky whilst peeling and eating the juciest orange that you can imagine. Happy days.

You've just made me order this soap, bastard enabler.

Epic shave with quality products once again. I’m loading the absolute shit out of the soap because:
A) More soap = better lather
B) I’m not afraid to use it up quickly
C) better lather can be had by loading for longer off the puck
D) There’s plenty more soaps under the sink
E) It doesn’t owe me anything, so if it was finished in 2 weeks I wouldn’t care, I’d be rather proud I imagine

Moral of the story - get loading before you start pushing up daisies and your family toss your gear in the trash!

I also did not see the charm of Stirling, so i swapped it.
I recently bought another puck to see if it was just me.
Time will tell

Barrister's Reserve - Waves splash
Had to shave in a hurry before work with kids howling, but got a great result. My B&M 42 soap is almost empty so will probably dig in to this soap a lot during the hot summer. The Waves splash is so versatile, it goes well with everything. Have a great day!

i am confident you will like it, once you get the water/soap ratio correct you will find a very slick and protective lather

just make sure you load it up well and keep water to a bare minimum. Start to lather on your face (or bowl if you prefer) and get a nice thick (dryish) lather.. From here just dip the tips of your brush with water and proceed to spread the water around with your brush and continue to add water (bit by bit) until the lather gets super slick

good luck
