Ordered my 2nd soap, well cream...was keen for a citrus, so went with Taylor of Old Bond Street- Lemon and Lime.

What do you guys think?

As you know, I've only ever used Proraso green, so looking forward to something fresh.

Nice choice. Now that you have something else decent to compare, you can now really focus on these two lathers and see what you like and what you'd like improved between one, the other or both. Be keen to hear your thinking as you hone your tastes and I'm sure we'll all be obliging enough to help you figure how to fill any gaps. If there's one thing we're good at it's helping others spend their money.

Reasonably priced and perform well. I am sure someone will be able to provide an Artisinal Soap for you to compare with at some point.

Mate by the looks and shape of the PCTB3 I reckon the OP will be spoiled for choice. Hey @Jansy , mate, be sure to put your name down officially if you've not already - follow link above.

The box sounds very cool, bit intimidated being new and all. I am interested though...
Mate @Mark1966 can speak better to this, but from experience there's nothing to be intimidated by with the PCTBs. There are no expectations attached to the box beyond the rules of moving it on in good time and order. Just receive it, relax, enjoy....and shave at least three times a day to ensure you can get through a third of the contents ;) Otherwise just use whatever takes your fancy, nothing more, nothing less.

Ditto what Stillsy said above. The Box is like a giant sample pack. Try some different soaps and aftershaves. Enjoy the scents and pick a favourite. It gives you a chance to see what's available without buying anything! There is some very high quality and well-known shaving products in this Box that a lot of experienced shavers wouldn't have even had a chance to try. It's a great experience. A chance to try and tell us what you think.

Righto, thanks. Another question...how do you post pictures?
You have to use a 3rd party website (Flickr, Photostream, Imgur, Dropbox, etc). Upload your photo there, and then link to the image.

Not hard but it seems many of us here are not IT nerds :ROFLMAO:
...yeah you don't got to dig far to unearth @Monsta_AU is like an IT guru. He works it daily and gets home and plugs in FPS across 4 screens and P&C maintained PiP. Be proud to be a Luddite mate. Our time, again, it will come.

BTW if you're not already signed up I've found Imgur the easiest. Once you've registered, it's intuitive to upload photos - just drag and drop or point to your directory - and then you just copy the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" string and paste it into the message box on here. Simple!

Ok guys need some advice please...

Nonick sent me a sample of B&M 'latha' which I really like. Great scent and top quality lather - thanks again @Nonick.
I am really keen on buying a barber shop traditional scent soap.
Which has the nicest old school scent and best performance????

Well, Latha could be considered a Barbershop scent. It's a fairly loose term really...

Others that I recommend would be Latha's older cousin "Seville" from @Barrister&Mann

@Anthony has a Barber shop scented soap. I haven't used that one, but any Shaver Heaven soap is a fantastic performer. Highly recommended. There is also a matching AS balm.

Phoenix Accoutrements "CAD" (formerly "Barberpole" and changed to Cease And Desist for some reason...[emoji6]) is very highly regarded scent wise as a terrific traditional Barbershop scent. If you are able to get the matching aftershave/cologne it lasts and lasts all day.

Aqua Velva is a great barbershop scented aftershave. You can buy it from eBay for about $8-10 delivered.

Addition:
I forgot Mike's Natural Soaps. He has a barbershop scented soap which is terrific. It's harder to acquire though...

Problem with that, is it's akin to asking how long a random piece of string is.
What have you tried and liked ?

Shaver heaven would be a local option. Anthony makes a barbershop scent.

Tobs make good cream and I think Mr Taylor's is their barbershop scent

I really like Mikes natural soaps barbershop or Barrister & Mann Seville but they are American = expensive at the moment.

If your on a budget an tired of life there is also Arko

Sorry Jansy the Arko bit was a joke. It smells nothing like the barber, and a lot like the neglected public toilet next door
