CBR Calling all Canberra (and surrounds) members

I’ll probably just have some blades for you guys to try.. I have a conflict early afternoon so will have to leave at 1 but I’m looking to get there at about 11:30, what’s best for you lot?

I can get there a bit earlier, if that helps.
11/11:30 is fine for me.

So, this inspired to take stock of what I have bought since the last meetup.
It's scary to think that this is roughly 2 months of purchases. As such, I'm going to cutback on my expenditure somewhat for a while.

Let me know if there's anything you want me to bring to see/smell.

Razors:
- Ikon B1 open comb with Bulldog handle. Bought at the last meetup and love it.
- Supply v2 + extra plates (still learning to use this correctly)
- Colonial General, Stainless Steel version (this is mild, yet somehow amazing. It's great!)
- 1931 Gillette New Open Comb (In the post and eagerly awaited)

Brushes:
- The Stray Whisker 24" synthetic (not used yet... I know. I know)
- St James of London 24" synthetic (Bought because it was on sale. But, turns out I ordered a different one than I thought. Still good but the handle is pretty small. Good backbone. But, a little scritchy)

Soap/smellies:
- B&M Reserve Classic soap/splash
- B&M Le Grande Chypre soap/splash/EdT
- B&M Leviathan soap/splash/EdT
- B&M Cheshire splash (to go with my matching soap)
- Mitchell's Wool Fat (haven't used it yet)
- Whispers from the Woods: Lavender soap (not used yet - I already have the Sandalwood)
- APR/Squadron: Australians All (in the post - I couldn't let this go)
- Squadron Soaps: Red Lead (in the post - I couldn't let this go)

Misc:
- Jude Keogh lather bowl (looks like the front+center bowl, but in black) A bit pricey. But, exactly what I was after.
- Brush cleaner
- The Stray Whisker: Alum Block
- 75 Permasharp blades from B/S/T.

11:30 good for me!

... Well, I just checked and it seems I acquired B&M Cheshire and Classic before the last meet up. I thought it was looking a bit B&M-heavy.
Either way, I won't be buying any more B&M for a long while.

In contrast I’ve actually been pretty well behaved.

Appolagies. I'm running late. I'll be there soon.
(had to offload child)

Ah crap. I hadn't thought of that!

Great to catch up again guys, what we lack in quantity we obviously make up for in quality!

Until next time ...
