Not an Itchy Green Pants in sight BUT ...

@stillshunter, @Walter Small and myself in a pub - for CBR that is a HUGE meet up.

I saw soaps, blades AND razors surreptitiously passed across the table with only the occasional furtive glance from the barmaid or the flouros enjoying happy hour.

Hope to get @Daveho1 to join the fun but 80% turn out is not bad!

[Grrr, it makes me select a prefix - and we are NOT SYD! Can we please have our own @Monsta_AU?]

Nice one!
I'm sure they'd have seen lots of bags and items passing hands in pubs across Canberra...

Yeah fix that prefix, what an embarrassment @Monsta_AU !

Was a great meet-up. Yeah no Itchy Green Pants, but a nice selection nonetheless. Mark and I sampled a couple of nice cold weather ales from Matilda Bay - "Ruby Tuesday" and "Dogbolter". Not bad, not bad at all! Might be a venue change next time as the concentration of flouro sausage was a little on the dense side. Got pretty rowdy by the end of happy hour. Might have suited the likes of @Drubbing or @gthomas04 , for for sophisticates such as @Mark1966 and myself it was another matter entirely.....
....and for folks like @SydBJW , @filobiblic and @borked who have met me, well shut up! I is sofistikated!

PHEW - managed to edit and remove prefix!

Yeah @Monsta_AU fix that shit now.
Everyone knows Canberra is but a small part of NSW and if you will, a sister city to Sydney, so for the love of all that's great, fix the title so it's got the SYD prefix again... please :)

FFS @Monsta_AU even Townsville has its own TSV code!

Give us a break...give us our CBR code!.....look don't take out the pollies and porn on us!
They deserve it, their footy team at least have won something this century, what has yours done lately?

You took my damn fireworks away you barstards!!

Actually it was a, now, former Labor Minister because they upset his dog - he was on a campaign for YEARS until he suceeded.

We have a TAG - yippee (y)

I am going to start a new political party - the science, cycling, fireworks & fine whisky party.

Just had cracker night. Wish they'd take them away from this lot too.

Guy Fawkes night when I lived in the UK was fine. The idiots that live up here don't deserve it.
I've had crackers fired at me by people in cars while on a pushbike. There really are too many dicks up here that spoil it for the rest of us.
Shit, dickheads get so pissed they put crackers up their own arse and wonder why they need a trip to A&E!
Good to see he has his PPE on in the hot tub @stillshunter

Dogbolter - I can remember its genesis back in '83 - they would put a blackboard out the front of the Sail and Anchor (it was the Freemasons Hotel at that time), with a number between 6 and 10 (e.g. 7.6), which was the % alcohol of the current batch of Dogbolter. On the high days, the boys would pile in at lunchtime to down a couple of pints before heading back to work. Different times.......
