@rbscebu 's updated pasted strop guide reminded me that I found this Chinese video summarizing the pasted balsa strategy (captions available).

With great shame, I did watch this with the English subs, as my Chinese comprehension isn't what it used to be.

@sd_baker, like you my Chinese is rather rusty. I left China at about 4 years old to return to Australia for my schooling. It was another 50 years before I started returning to China and was never able to become fluent again.

That is an interesting video. He covers all of the basics. I disagree with some parts minor parts but he has some interesting alternatives that I might try one day.
