Got a great haul from an antique shop down in Kograh on the weekend. One Gillette Gold Tech with tartan case (wanted one of these for ages), one Gillette Rocket HD (which probably will become my daily driver), two silver blade cases (one of which completes my Bostonian set), a tiny tiny razor with case and cardboards and spare blades, a Schick Platinum (aka plastic fantastic, quite rare from what I can tell), and a hip flask wrapped in snake skin (was the sweetener to close the deal). $150 for the bundle. Was stoked
Most of the gear is in great condition. The case for the Tech unfortunately has a mark, but the gold is in pretty good condition (missing bits of the lacquer as they often get). Rocket HD is great. Lovely to shave with. I can return my #58 to its case in the display case
The little Laurel case is weird. Absolutely tiny.
