Plated Karve

A friend just sent me some pics of his Karve top and base plates he had plated with Dave in NZ.
He's using a Razorock stainless handle.
He's pretty happy with result but yet to shave with the plated head to compare to unplated.
2 base plates + top cap was $65 plus $20 postage.

I love the darkening brass on my Karve so the plated one ruins it for me...but I know I'm the exception in not liking shiny things. Much prefer a matte finish.

Yep, nickel plated.

You could always get it Cerakoted too.

TBH I got the Karve because I really wanted a razor that would patina over time and the darkening is looking fantastic
