There are so many that pair with both of those, give me an hour or so and I will compile a list for you based on my own personal tastes and those links you have supplied.

Imho if you are going to pair the Splash and the EDT it is always a good idea, where possible, to also go with a soap that pairs if only somewhat. I will just do the Splash's here though for you.

As both of those are EDT I am guessing you want a more affordable, wet-shaving 'splash' product ?

Well. It's more the case I got onto these 10-15 years ago and liked them so much that I wear them all the time. If you can recommend similar scents I wouldn't mind. Happy to reach for the top shelf occasionally but want an everyday wear for now.

I am not absolutely sure what it is you want, if you want splashes that imitate the expensive(ish) EDT's on the market then these jump to mind.

Stirling Soap Co. - Sharp Dressed Man, Island Man, Executive Man, South Padre, Arkadia, Mountain Man, & Bergamot Lavender
Fine Accoutrements - American Blend, Fresh Vetiver, L'Orange Noir, Platinum

Detailed descriptions of the scents and what they imitate can be found via the links.

It is worth remembering that the EDT's you have mentioned are made by highly skilled perfumers with years of experience and the very best of ingredients. Those two colognes no doubt went through hundreds if not thousands of iterations and refinements over 5 or 10 years prior to being released. A $25 splash is never going to compete with the complexity, nuance or purity of an EDT, or to be frank, come even close.

If you are looking for similar EDT's or such like I would recommend going into a David Jones store, or upmarket department store and trying 20 to 30 of the more readily available products on the market. It really is the only way to find your signature scent, a text based description on the internet is really of little use. You will find most decent department stores sell EDT and cologne in the $70 to $800 range or thereabouts, beyond that you move into specialised house brands which is a whole different ballpark, to try most of those you need to go to the flagship stores in the major cities. i.e. Channel, YSL, Ferragamo, etc,etc

Hope this helps somewhat, I am sure others can jump in with suggestions and or opinions :)

@todras Sorry mate. I think I confused matters. These 2 + one more that I forgot the name of are my signature scents. I am looking for an aftershave that will go with them not to replace them. I just Meant to say that I am ok for an aftershave that's a little bit pricier if it matches better.

Now if someone comes with a new scent (edt or perfume) with a twist on this profile I can also give it a go.

Been to DJ a couple of times couldn't find what I wanted.

Nothing that pairs to those two scents immediately jumps to mind, if you have a look at the notes that comprise both of those scents you see instantly a complex synergy of scents/notes particularly as both Hugo Boss and D&G have expert perfumers in their houses.

It would be very hard, nigh on impossible for an after-shave marker, be it artisan or otherwise to really work with the complexity of the two EDT's you have linked too - Boss and D&G. If I were you I would do some searching on the shave forums and you might get lucky, you may find something close but I strongly doubt you will find something with the scent complexity or skill of synergy of those two EDT's. I may be wrong, this is just my opinion mind you based on what I know :)

My advice in finding an aftershave/splash to compliment both of those scents (which are really quite complex to begin with) would be to isolate 1 bass, 1 heart and 1 or 2 top notes and look for an aftershave/splash like that and then order samples of it and others similar to see which you like most as representing key notes of the original.

Hmm. Maybe I will look into whether they have aftershaves with these scents.

Another option is to get an after shave that's scent free then I can use the edt after.
