Soap: Stirling Eskimo Tuxedo
Razor: Rockwell 6s (2)
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Post: Proraso Green splash

Man this Stirling glacial soap is cold. Right under my nose, I feel a touch of sensitivity which makes me try to finish the shave faster to the detriment to my technique. For this reason, today I bowl lathered in the attempt to keep the soap off my face for a few minutes or so. Is this acceptable with the highly mentholated stuff?
Hopefully this doesn’t continue as I’m aiming to complete this soap over summer since it ain’t really a winter soap!

Brush: Vulfix 403 Mixed
Razor: Schick Adjustable
Blade: Personna Injector
Cream: BBA
A/S: Aqua Velva

The Schick has well and truly changed my mind about injectors. Used at it's highest setting for 3 passes and dropped down to 5 for the clean provides a near BBS, irritation free shave without fail. Perfect daily razor for me. Down to the last 5 blades though so I'll need to stock up.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Saponificio Varesino Two-band High Mountain Manchurian White Badger
Soap: Martin De Candre Fougère
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkie Light Brigade (2)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel, CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave
Scent: APR Fenchurch EdP

Another very smooth and comfortable shave. Some users find the AS-D2 too mild, but it is efficient and has almost surgical precision, making it a joy to use.
Three passes for a DFS+.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower

Soap/Cream: Aqua Di Palma Colonia shaving soap
Razor: Darwin Standard
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkinson Sword 'French Browns' (4)
Post-shave: Aqua Di Palma Colonia after shave lotion
Fragrance: Aqua Di Palma Colonia EDC

What, again you say? Yes, shamelessly reused post again. Will change it up tomorrow, the Darwin takes its toll after a while and the AdP splash is pretty brutal - so my face needs some artisanal love ...

Mmmmm....

Late I know :)

no pics today, but a win for the wet shaving community. My brother is staying with me at the moment and his idea of shaving is throwing some hand soap on his face in the shower, and then running over with a three blade brick. So, after some convincing he allowed me to whip up some awesome APR (Skye Fall) lather and then I showed him how to use a straight razor. He managed to get his cheeks done and parts of his chin, before he finished up with one of my Charcoal Goods razors (lvl 2) with a new feather. To cut a long story short, he woke up the next morning asking if he could have another 'real shave'. Happy Days.

Excellent story and a brave trusting brother. The "real shave" question indicate early on set straight razor addiction. The only relief from this affliction is placing good lather on the face and removing it with sharp bare metal.

Pre: Pb PSE
Soap: Pb Brazilian Bay Thyme
Brush: Epsilon Horse
Razor: Gillette Black Beauty 109
Blade: Voskhod (3)
Post: Pb Calendula Balm
I find the Voskhods harsh so I ran the adjustable on setting 5 (I normally use settings 7 & 9) which put the Voskhod on a leash. Was still nice to follow up with just a smidge of Calendula Balm.
Was loving the spiciness of the Brazilian Bay Thyme this morning.

Currently on tour in SGP, found a place to buy de blades in little India, dirt cheap prices so decided to stock up on brands I haven’t tried before. Also sell a variety of Tabac, Brut, Omega and Old Spice products at significantly lower prices than OZ.
This will more than likely be my shave of the day for the next 10 days.

Another try with this soap - even better this time. Just went for it with lathering and it went like a beast. A post shave product would have ruined it. 3 pass BBS and no irritation - I could get used to this...
