Razor/Blade:- Karve CB SS 'D' / Wizamet Polsilver Brown Stainless #5
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- Tommy Hilfiger for Men

IMHO the Piccolo is definite leader with Astra SP blades. The only shave good enough after a single pass and BBS after two
The shave mimics the quality and style of the razor. Smooth round polished and sharp.

A beautiful shave. Muscle memory is kicking in with the relatively narrow sweet spot of the AS-D2 - three passes and only a couple of touch-ups for a BBS result.

More of the same today. The brush is a 24mm Timber Wolf with handle by Wild West Brushworks and my preference is definitely for 26mm knots. I prefer the larger face feel of bigger knots while lathering up.

Karve D continues to soldier on providing great efficiency in my shaves.

Great shave, but my thoughts this morning are on those in the areas affected by bushfires and the firies, volunteers, out there fighting them. We have lots of the schools I deal with closed.

two days in to my new job and I have been leaving the house by 7am. This means that I no longer have time for a relaxing morning shave, but am now shaving at night time instead. Not sure that I like it as much, time will tell. Beautiful shave from this combo though. I reckon this Gem has one last shave in it before time for a change. I've not used a D.E. for a while, I've been busy breaking in my OneBlade.​

What do you think of Fran soaps/splashes? I've been tempted a couple of time to join one of his releases, but I am not in a mood of buying many software, and that, if so, would include extra mailing costs.
