A nice 3 pass BBS. Even though I'm not a scent guy, if I was, this scent, together with Proraso Green, would be at the top of my list. Nothing smells more Aussie, or more masculine, to me. Pity the soap base in this one is so terrible. It's only any good if you go back to the tub between passes, which is a bit ordinary in this day and age.

BTW, I also don't get the importance of matching soap and splash / edp scents - they should just be complimentary. Soaps should have simple scents - leave the complex perfumery to the perfumes. Plenty of mass market product lines do it that way. Some don't even pretend to be close (eg Cella). Works for me...

For those of us with no olfactory taste the security of a 'pre-matched' set works too ;)

Brush:- WCS Two-Tone Tall (Blue & White) Extra Dense Synth. 26/56mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Stirling ~ Sandpiper
Razor/Blade:- Feather AS-D2 / Gillette Nacet #1
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Whisky:- Ardbeg 10yrs old

shame the Melbourne weather is not matching this set.
True - but i think this weather is great. 20 degs is spot on in my book!
The menthol of the splash is perfect too. I get a bit of chill which doesn't last long but its awakening...

All was set up then my 1 year old woke up, took him outside to play. Shave got delayed 1 hour and had to do it all in a hurry. All good though
