Everytime I see that brush I kick myself for not trying harder at last years auction, although I had a tendency for boar brushes it looked marvelous and still does
Yep, always enjoy seeing it on the SOTD, and possibly drool a little bit as well.
Yep, it is probably my favourite brush I have to say, only thing it is missing is custom engraving!

Of course the moral of the story is - bid harder at this year's auction!

Date:- 01 August 2020

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- WCS Two-Tone Tall (Blue & White) Extra Dense Synth. 26/56mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Squadron ~ Group Captain's Blend
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 34C / Gillette Nacet #6
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (5) / The Stray Whisker Aftershave Balm (Australian made)

I keep for getting how much I love the scent of Group Captain's Blend, smells more relaxing than Tabac in the winter season. This soap is a REAL MUST have into your bloody den, otherwise, you’re really missing out on this amazing smell of Group Captain's Blend during the winter season shave.

I was going to ask about that brush, but now I know and am not surprised who made it.

If that's the sort of gear up for auction, then I am definately looking forward to my first Charity Auction.

Than the Charity Auction war begins very soon, make sure you’ve got plenty of MONEY to get what you REALLY WANT!!!! to keep up with the bidder.

@klinker I like the frosted effect on vintage pics, not so sure of the psychedelic acid trip effect though

Be even more impressive if you included the picture......especially when you're using the TF Gold/Pearl brush.

I'm not sure @klinker assumed we'd be tripping when looking at his photos.
I read a very interesting book recently on psychedelics. Had no idea just how significant they were in the development of modern history.

Brush: TF Custom Lime Green and Transparent swirl 27mm Rhodium
Razor: iKon 102 slant + OSS handle
Blade: Polsilver SI (7)
Soap: PAA CaD
Bowl: Mrs @Nico shave bowl (y)
Pre: Shower + PAA Cube mentholated
Post: Pacco Rabane Black XS cologne // TSW After Balm
ATG, XTG, WTG = DFS

The last two shaves have been super smooth but not as efficient as I'd like...? Normally I bin a blade after 5-6 solid shaves but seeing as the Polsilver SI's is showing no drag I decided to keep using it.
Great performance from the soap, the brush continues to delight me with the Rhodium, handle and colour scheme working so well! Finished off with some cologne and balm for two great SOTD... Happy shaves!
