Pre: Hot Shower
Brush: Yaqi Everest
Soap: Blue Devil Tropical Colada
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 66
Blade: Permasharp (1)
Post: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner, Nivea Skin & Stubble

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Shavemac 3-band Finest Badger
Soap: 3P
Razor: Merkur Mergress XL (2)
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna Super Platinum Chrome (7)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Cella Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Acca Kappa 1869 EdP

First outing for both the Shavemac (thanks @Holiday) and the 3P (Thanks @Mark1966 for a generous PIF). The brush performed nicely - nimble and very efficient in whipping up a lather rapidly.
A touch of scritch compared to my Shavemac Silvertip knots, but was expecting that.
The 3P also performed well - this is surely up there in the "bang for your buck" stakes. Lather was slick, cushioning, and had good longevity and residual slickness.
Three passes for a comfortable and very close shave :).

You're still hiding the poor bloody copper bowl again @TomG behind the aftershave and you're sexy smelly viagra Acca Kappa

How's the 3P soap scent smells like? very similar to Cella red tub?

Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Billygoat Brushworks - B1 28mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Stirling - Amyris
Razor: Blackland - Vector Ti
Blade: Schick - Proline (11)
Post-shave: Stirling - Amyris AS splash / A&E skin food nourishing cream

2 pass WTG + touchups = DFS+. Nice shave.

@SpeedyPC corrupted me into trying this soap, and I am glad he did.(y) Amyris is a the by product of Stirling - Intrepid Man not going to formula correctly. Sometimes from mistakes good things can happen, and in this instance it did.

Where as Stirling - Intrepid Man is a masculine scent based off Creed Original Santal, Amyris is more unisex. I can see my wife practically drinking the splash if she ever got her hands on it. Amazing how one scent note of sandalwood not being spot on can change the entire fragrance. While off the tub both Amyris and Intrepid Man smell practically identical, lathering and the splashes are totally different. Amyris really brings out the ginger and lavender scent notes, with a brighter overall scent. This makes the soap more usable year round where as Intrepid Man I would me more inclined to use for evenings or colder weather. For me it's a (y).

RR Hawk OC
Stick Proline p30
Troycraft 26mm 2-band badger
B&M Seville
CaD Splash

I have to say I reckon I preferred the cheap Chinese No name blade from yday.. today I had a little blood but a bloody close shave..

during the shave I felt I had gone too far and there would be irritation to deal with but to my total surprise I have none, just a smooth comfortable shave.. Put it this way, I wear a mask daily and all day while at work and getting no irritation from the mask at all.

Enjoying shaving with a mini rake but so far for me the DE is king incl the rocca, wr2 and lupo's. The Rocca handles on this razor feel amazing, @Razor Burn make sure you pair one when you get the OC, even try one now with the SB you have

It might be just me still getting used to it but when using DE I feel I'm shaving, when using the SE it sorta feels like I'm gardening

Nice insight and kinda a shame I didn't trial a different handle when I still had the Hawk V3 as its on its was to @tullfan to trial.
Curious to see how you go with the other blades as found the Kai a bit much in the Vector but Feather Super's shave fine?!
Really love how nice that honey badger brush ended up as nice and golden

thanks, its an amazing brush.. my #1 in my den for sure. I have feather super and feather pro also to try in the hawk.. the most surprising aspect of a the SE experience so far is both time i felt i may of gone a little too much (especially today) and feared irritation was inevitable, but there is none to be seen.. If I had gone that much with my DE's would of felt something for sure

Agree 100% as the face feel often has me worried but love how close the AC blades feel mowing down my coarse growth.

Hi Speedmaster. When I next meet an attractive lady, I must introduce myself as sexy smelly viagra TomG - surely a foolproof opening line ;).
The 3P scent is a similar almond scent as Cella, but a little milder in my book.

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Troycraft - Kakadu Gold
Soap:- Stirling - Frozen tundra
Razor:- Wolfman WR1 OC with WR2 Handle
Blade:- Wizamet (5)
Aftershave:- Stirling - WHAM

Stirling Frozen Tundra and Witch Hazel Aloe Menthol is the best combination in the den for the balmy build up.
Very happy with WR1OC and don't think this will be seen in BST or charity auction any time soon
Have I mentioned Troycraft - Kakadu Gold is my favorite brush :)

LOL, with your charm and sophistication you might just get away with it - give it a go! :ROFLMAO:

I would agree. I'm effectively using it as unscented.
