Shave of the day

This week I was able to pick of a older model:
Razor: Kai Captain
Blade: Feather Proguard
Brush: Horse
PreShave: Shea Moisture Shave
Soap: TSD lanolin Desperado
AS: Clubman Vanilla
Balm: English Cream AS.
Very nice shave. The Kai's head is a little larger than the Feather AC, also a little longer in the handle by about 1/2 in. Other than those 2 differences the Kai is basically the same blade handle.
Shave was excellent. I m able to get a very clean shave in 2 passes (1wtg and 1atg) with almost no touch up with the Proguard in any handle.

Had a good (TM variation) shave yesterday with a personna in the aristocratty gillette for 1st pass and an older permasharp in the superspeed for the rest. Because I felt pretty good with the personna (better than I expected) I went with the personna all the way today. Not as good. Lot more touchups required.

Definitive for me - Permasharp super > Personna red. Using mennen stick in both cases.
