Not bad, but I would cut the bottom section off, even the original ball end handles are 1/4 inch too long IMO.

I presume that you could reproduce the old ball ends in solid brass @TroyTools ?

Quite possibly could get pretty close. (pretty close = quick. Exact = long time)
They look pretty finicky and would require some specific tool shapes ground for them. Not impossible, but not something I was willing to do in a moment of boredom on this one. Just wanted to make something,,,,,,,,,,,,, now. (childish need for instant gratification much!)
