Welcome to Paste & Cut!
Presumably you are here as a new member (if not go and register here) and are wondering what to do.
As a part of measures to mitigate spam, we have disabled posting to most of the board for new members. In order to unlock permission to post in these sections, you will need to create a new thread here to introduce yourself. If you are active in that thread in next to no time you will have full privileges and be able to post everywhere across the forum (apart from the B/S/T). If you appreciate a post from somebody else in your thread you can show that by ‘liking’ their post The ‘Like’ button is highlighted in the image of a post below – next to the Multi-Quote and Reply buttons.
If you can’t think of what to write in your introductory thread how about telling us:
While you cannot post in other areas of the forum initially there is nothing to stop you having a look around, so –
There are also sections of the site dedicated to general grooming, clothing and accessories and ‘Masculine Pursuits’ more broadly. Want a second opinion? You will get one here!
‘The High Street’ is where members can buy, sell and trade, vendors can show their wares and provide special offers and we can give people a heads up on interesting items around auction sites and elsewhere. The B/S/T sub-forum becomes available to new members after a few weeks - just a feature to stop those who simply want to join here to sell their wares.
To help new members further some threads are also in development in the Help Section on
You should also be aware that the forum no longer supports Tapatalk.
Of course like any group we have some rules here, well one rule basically which we think pretty much covers it all –
Personal attacks are not appreciated, deal with issues in private conversations rather than spraying somebody in a thread, treat others as you would like to be treated, don't pinch other people's property (including IP) – all pretty simple really. Oh, and promotion of a particular position in relation to:
One last thing – we are glad you are here. Hopefully we will get to know each other – this is a great group of guys, with the occasional girl too!
Enjoy your stay and enjoy your shaves

If you can’t think of what to write in your introductory thread how about telling us:
- Whether you are using double edge (DE or safety) razors or straight (or cut-throat) razors,
- What soaps / creams / aftershaves you have and/or like,
- How long you have been wet shaving,
- Where you are in the world, more or less, exact GPS co-ordinates are NOT required (we have members from across Australia and the world),
- Why you started and how you have found the process so far.
While you cannot post in other areas of the forum initially there is nothing to stop you having a look around, so –
- Check out the Shave of the Day Thread - 2018 to see what others are using,
- We also have a ‘Waiting Room’ where we share our new acquisitions - get your wish list started,
- The ‘Doctor’s Office’ is the place you can ask shave related questions once approved,
- Why not browse the sub-forums in 'Traditional Shaving' covering all the individual aspects of wet shaving.
- Looking to 'buy local' - check out this thread - Australian Shaving & Grooming Suppliers and Artisans
