After my shave the other morning -

You're not wrong!

... In fact, during this morning's shave I started wondering if one could create a 'warming' shave cream.
Yeah, I know. Probably just crazy talk. But all the best mad-scientists have their epiphanies at such times.

I don't mean anything chilli-based. Rather something that becomes slightly exothermic when used.
No, I don't think such a product would ever be worth the very real risk of injury. But, it's an interesting thought-experiment and indication of how darn cold it has been here lately.

For the record, I accept no liability if anyone tries this*.
*There's always that *one* guy.

Hey @todras - can you come and write me a HUGE disclaimer here so that when some idiot tries this, 'that *one* guy', Paste & Cut is not liable for hosting this discussion?

Please children, do NOT try this as home

Maybe you need to get some of this for shaving -

and this as a general body soap -

Nice, good way to keep thin this winter, shed that unwanted skin weight.

Stirling makes a soap which pretty much smells like liniment - would that be warming enough?

It would have to do more than just smell...
Having a pre-shave shower is necessary just to stop shaking.

I don't think I ever got past the smell to actually use it.

To be fair, it's not the residents that detract from the place. It's the "honest and respectible gentlemen and women" duly elected elsewhere who come and, shall we say, provide a less than warranted reputation to the city.

I totally agree with you! It was actually them to whom I was referring! I used the word "residents" as an infinitely softer alternative to the word I would have preferred to use! Ummmmmm.... maybe "vermin" might work? Yes..... upper echelon vermin!

Ahaha!

Parliament must be in recess ... ... ... I thought all that hot wind would keep the temperature up.

Winter break - too cold for them to be here now!
