Is that your travel kit you will need a towel, never travel anywhere in the universe with out a towel

Razor: Gillette Fat Boy (5)
Blade(s): Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow (2)
Brush: TF Lava Demon 26mm
Soap/Cream: Squadron Soaps "Group Captains Blend"
Post: Dickinsons

Back to week day shave. Think I have the brush dialled in now. Never thought it would be that hard! Plenty of lather and such a fine scent as well. This one does stick with you for a while after the shave and I am happy about that. One weeper but pretty sure that was a follow on from the feather a few days ago. Hopefully my shipment arrives in today. May be able to finally have some post shave entry to make apart from Dickensons and Thayers.

Good stuff, Mate! I have re-discovered yellow 7 O'Clocks of late, while only using Russian blades for the past six weeks apart from 3 or 4 shaves with a Gem SE and Gem blades. I have found 7 OC blades give me an extremely good shave... I have used them with several razors... including 3 different OCs. My new Maggard synthetic brush has me well and truly won over to synths as well. I will still use a hog occasionally though. Really surprised by the 7OC blades.

Proraso Red pre-shave
Rockwell 6S (5) with Lord Racer blade (6)
Proraso Red soap
Proraso brush
Re-lather and warm rinse

Proraso day today! A leisurely shave and a great 3 pass BBS to boot... there was nothing to complain about. Followed up with CK Obsession...

Razor: eclipse red ring
Blade: nacet (3)
Soap: haslinger lanolin
Brush: silvertip
Post: the wardern splash

Fantastic shave I can't fault it, I'm really honing in on making all combos of my current gear work, might have to sell some off in exchange for NEW items

Great photo, @todras ! As a fellow DNA fan, would be interested in your thoughts on the "42" range.

Razor: Vintage Darwin Standard
Blade: Vintage NOS English Wilkinson Sword (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson '46' reknotted in pure
Soap/Cream: Santa Maria Novella Crema da Barba
Aftershave Splash: Santa Maria Novella Tabacco Toscano Lozione dopo Barba

Classic Italian goodness. Thinking of @Draco Noir

Hope the meet up goes well today guys
The Santa Maria Novella was a favorite of @Draco Noir . He would be very pleased to see you using it.

I like 42, it's a mixture of black pepper/petunias, tea and lemon notes. Quite mild and ideal for spring.

That was the aim - and I had a little assistance in choosing it :)

Reasonably aggressive setting on the slim but the Voskhod and squadron soap provided a smooth comfortable shave :smug:
