This was first mentioned to me in an email from Brad this morning and is now mentioned on their website. From the website:

"We regret that we are no longer able to accept orders from outside the U.S.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but for business reasons international shipping is no longer feasible."

So now a forwarding service is required which simply increases the cost and undoubtedly the frustrating wait time.

Or used your own US International Mail Box for example as I have 3 below.

myMallBox https://www.mymallbox.com/
Shipito.com https://www.shipito.com/en/?countrycode=AU
ShopMate https://shopmate.auspost.com.au/
Or buy a brush form someone else.....

To be fair to Brad there are not many brush makers in the US that do ship Internationally. A lot of the other options are cheaper though and the quality from some of the other Artisan's I have bought from is amazing (Declaration, Jeff Huck, Doug Korn, Rudy Vey etc.).

Always dissappointing when that happens. I've been tempted to buy one of his brushes - but not any more

What would influence their decision to stop shipping OS?
I can understand with artisan soap there's insurance implications but with brushes....?

From what I understand it is causing quality issues (specifically with the handles).

Happy to discuss further via PM.....

Please fire me a PM, as I was waiting for his backlog to decrease, so I could have a custom beyond his limited custom range made.

Interested too. What handle issues they may have

What’s your idea? My heart is calling out for another M&F.

At this stage, I'll keep the idea up my sleeve, as if I'm unable to get a directly delivered custom, I'll utilise the idea for a prospective group buy elsewhere.
You will know :)

Of course I could be mistaken in my read here and you're planning an early Xmas gift for me???

If you used your own US International mail box you can order any brush you like across the US even higher quality badger brushes, and have them send to your via US mail box and than send it to Australia by paying just a little bit extra for shipping insurance cost that way your brush won't even get further damage if your lucky.

There has been a lot of UK wet shavers buying higher quality badger brushes from US, and they don't have any issue receiving from the US as I'm sure the Australian wet shavers don't have any issue.

Maybe @alfredus could be able to chip in because I know he has bought a number of higher quality badger brushes from US without any issue.

Genius, why didn't I think of that?

Oh, hang on....

I did in my original post.....

Nothing wrong with forwarding services - I get awesome service from MyMallBox - and the extra benefit is getting stuff from Amazon US that won't send to Australia, or take advantage of free local delivery to US addresses rather then the stupid prices that many US businesses charge for international shipping.

Get $5 credit, give me a few bucks credit also: https://www.mymallbox.com/referrals/signupwith/B7268

PM me for a further BlackFriday $5 credit code... offer ends in the next day or so.
