Pre-shave: Shower/Bloom Water
Brush: Muhle - STF Synthetic
Soap: Stirling - Glastonbury
Razor: Timeless .68 SB - Scalloped Head
Blade: GSB (3)
Post-shave: AP Reserve Escentials 'Restoration'
With new found lathering technique thought I would give the synth another go.
Lathered beautifully in the bowl and all over my shoulder, chest, floor, cat and some on the face
GSB gives a nice post shave feel. Escentials is wonderful I just miss my aftershaves but this has provided the perfect opportunity to improve lathering technique and @tim33z a few sample pucks.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Pre-Shave Cream
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger;
Soap: Phoenix & Beau Night Witch
Razor: Gillette Slim (4)
Blade: NOS Gillette Bleue Extra (2)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel; Barrister's Reserve Spice A/S Splash
Scent: L'Artisan Parfumeur Fou d’Absinthe

First outing with one of P&B's newer soaps - Night Witch. I've just finished watching Season 2 of Britannia, so the choice of soap seemed most appropriate.
The scent is a deep, dark take of vintage Shulton Old Spice, with a base of typical P&B earthiness. Light-mid scent strength, and I found it terrific.
Also terrific was the lather - if I were to nominate which of my soaps was the easiest to lather, Phoenix & Beau would be very close to the top.
Three passes with the Slim on setting 4, allowing the very sharp vintage Gillette blade to do its work and render me BBS.
Barrister's Reserve Spice seemed a logical match, and indeed worked very nicely indeed. I reveled in postshave bliss for a hour or two before applying fragrance, and found that the dark yet sparkling fougère notes of Fou d'Absinthe proved another great match.
I love it when all the elements of a shave come together like this :D.

Alpha, Outlaw V2, Titanium
Blackland Brass OC and Stainless CC

The first time that I used the OC I was left regretting the choice somewhat. Fast forward a few weeks and with a blade that I know well and that works for me (Astra Green) I was rewarded with a wonderful shave. I had planned on doing the first pass with the OC and the switching to the CC, but the brassbird was doing so well, that I just kept on going. Finished off with some APR serum. Wonderfullly close shave. Happy Monday everyone.

Shave 13 with the Polsilver blade. Hard to differentiate between this one and the last 10 to be honest! Smooth as silk boxer shorts gliding across ones ........

Ive often seen of people mixing their splash with a balm so did this today. Really does give the best of both worlds and combines quite well rubbed together (Note: this sentence is not a pun of the above paragraph)

SOTD: Saturday 15th February

Pre: Warm Shower
Razor: 1973 SuperSpeed
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Tuxedo
Soap: A&E Uno
Post: A&E Uno Splash

Saturday night I danced with the black beauty and against my own advice I decided to shave after a few ouzo’s. I set the super speed to 6 and proceeded with caution towards a traditional 3 pass shave and was rewarded smooth blood free shave.

I am really starting to like the black beauty, shaves have improved dramatically and I am getting used to the longer handle.

Absolutely superb, this combo never fails.
If anyone wants a good travel combo, this is a contender.

Pre: Hot Shower
Razor: Charcoal Goods Level-2 base plate, limited edition Victorian.
Blade: Gillette Rubie
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk3
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Squadron, The Warden
Post: Squadron, The Warden Aftershave
WTG, ATG, touch ups with adjusted angles for my beard.

Charcoal Goods Victorian is in my possession. As you would expect the fit and finish is top shelf and I like the engravings, just a stunner.
The first shave was stupendous. First pass easily mowed down the whiskers. I could hear ( I am hard of hearing) audible feedback, this razor sings. Second pass and touch ups wiped away any leftover whiskers and shaved the trouble spots with ease. Very comfortable shave with no irritation or weepers. Its an efficient, comfortable and easy razor to use. It does live up to the hype. Very impressed.
My only concern is when I lend this to @Razor Burn he may not return it.

What a real beauty and top level customer service to have it posted in such quick time. Personally as I already own a brass Karve and Bronze Timeless I would see myself getting the darker version as its a pain keeping them clean as they often develop patina and water marks. Saying all that I'm looking forward to giving it a try down the road and if all goes well finally adding it to my collection as I've always wanted a CG since I took the hobby up... Just don't tell the misses :X3::nailbiting: Well done @Nico (y)
