My grandson has just started shaving once every 2 weeks LOL
and his birthday is coming up and was thinking of giving him some soap and a brush (with out braking my bank)
Was looking at some Proraso red for soap but it says its for tough beards ,but no idea what for a brush , lots say yaqi brushes are good ( razors i don't like)
Any help with this

well i have bought the
RAZOROCK™ - PLISSOFT SYNTHETIC SHAVING BRUSH 24mm ( + A FREE SHAVE BRUSH STAND ) - $29.95 AUD
But have no idea of the soap to get him, they don't sell proraso, i wanted something that lathered well and good protection ,
dont want him heading to school with tissue paper hanging off him ,LOL
and i would like to buy from one supplier
Check out Beard and Blade from Melbourne, you'll get free postage over $20 AUD

Can recommend Beard & Blade - I ordered some items from them late on Friday and they turned up today. Excellent service and great shipping especially when you consider the free shipping over $20 and the glorious $4 express shipping

try The Body Shop shave creme; comes in a tub; $20. Good stuff!

I second this. My 21 yo son has a tub from there (black base with blue lid. Macca root and aloe i think) I thought it would be rubbish and didn't even bother to try it for several weeks. Finally at his insistence i gave it a go. It's awesome and generates a great lather very easy. Great scent as well. Just wish he would pick his girlfriends as well!

I have what you'd classify as a 'tough beard'.. personally the Proraso range doesn't cut it for me. I have all 3 and they don't provide the slickness that Tallow based soaps provide and they always end up choking up my razor.

Hope this helps.
