Another reason to be a little careful up North - https://www.katherinetimes.com.au/s...rapped-in-the-river-second-in-a-week/?cs=1459

"Katherine wildlife rangers have trapped their biggest crocodile of the year so far.

The capture of a 4.4-metre saltie was the second in about a week after a "quieter" than usual dry season.

This latest capture was trapped in the Flora River Nature Park, south west of Katherine, on Friday.

The same rangers caught a 3.3 metre saltie last Tuesday also downstream of Katherine but this time at Taylors Park."

Still not quite the size of the 4.7m one caught a couple of years ago -

Oooof good size snappy lizard!
You can buy croc, emu and other emblems of the land as food at the Fyshwick markets.
I considered making croc jerky... I don’t know that the worlds ready for that.

Where? I haven’t had croc steak 🥩 for years when I was a little spoiled brat in NT

Edit... Shit you’re from bloody Melbourne.
Oi now that I think about it Coles sells roo and croc.
Probably not the best quality but how would you know?

Well I'm also certain that it would be "free-range" roo although it would be hard to guarantee that the croc was "organic" :ROFLMAO:
