The finished products sticky

Seeming as I have dedicated to only using MdC until it runs out, I can't see myself posting here for a while. Happy for the moniker to be passed on.
How are you going with your MdC? Are you ¼-way through yet? And more importantly, is it still OK or is it becoming a chore? I sometimes think I could go solo-tub with my Stirling B/Lav, but I know that wouldn't do for a whole year. (It might be an interesting exercise to find out just how long those tubs do last though...)

Good man.
Make sure that you include it in your Will so it is known to all :)

I shall be popping the tub on the scale next week. At this stage it is not a chore, it is a really good soap. The scent is mild, but has enough presence to be detected. It's funny, it has been nearly 3 months and I am still perfecting the lather. Sometimes I overload and am there for ages adding water, but then sometimes a quick swirl seems to do the trick. I have 3 more tubs of MdC, not sure I will carry on with this until 2025 though.

1 tub of Proraso Green
1 Lea Shave Stick (tallow)

The Proraso Green is probably my favourite scent / menth package but I'm more about the performance of the soap base and it's just not good enough on that front to justify purchasing again. Middle of the road.

The Lea stick is my go to travel solution and one of my top performers all round, surprisingly enough. The scent is "fresh" - nothing to write home about but it's not offensive or overpowering, which is fine by me, just quietly... it's a good thing I have another.

My quest to work my way through my 10 year supply of soap and creams continues. Next up, I'll try working on my old puck of Col Conk to see if something acceptable can be done with it. Otherwise it'll end up in the shower... and after that I may have to face up to dealing with my stick of Arko! It has been airing out for awhile now so hardly has any scent left - they actually make a great air freshener when left to air out. A great soap otherwise, only let down by a dry post-shave feel, which needs to be fixed with a decent balm or equivalent...

Well, what did you expect? You can leave your greens if you want, but you use up your last blob of soap.

It is NOT a blob, it is at best a 'blobette' - no way you would get a shave worthy lather from that [oh no, here we go ...]

OK, so MAYBE I could have gotten HALF a shave from it -
