AusFarce or AusFantastic?

Exactly, how did I receive mine before his ?

Yes, Otticanet.

Of course, you still get warranty. But they'd have to go back, which costs money and takes time, as I found when I wanted to exchange a pair I didn't like. When I'm saving $100+ on Oakleys, I'll take the chance on having to return due to warranty issues. But I've never had to claim warranty on any sunnys yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I wondered if the warranty would be fulfilled by the vendor or the manufacturer, so it's handy to know about the potential extra cost.

Considering the global market for sunnies is pretty much saturated with subsidiary brands of Luxottica, I don't think it really matters.

I think @filobiblic is on the Ausfarce side - I sent him a package on 24th March which he still hasn't got. It has been at West Ryde post facility for a whole week now.

However @Monsta_AU might not mind them so much as the parcel I sent on the afternoon of Thursday before Easter is supposedly going to be delivered today!

Don't rub it in...

And Monsta's has been delivered!
While Filos is awaiting collection.

Chullora strikes again.
Sent some soaps to @nav1 recently, and after seeing that they had arrived at Chullora on 13th April, I thought he would have received them by now.

Just checked and apparently not - they haven't moved since then.

My current order:

Fri 17 Apr 2015 07:19 With Australia Post for delivery today ALEXANDRIA NSW
Thu 16 Apr 2015 06:26 Processed through Australia Post facility CHULLORA NSW
Wed 15 Apr 2015 21:25 Processed through Australia Post facility GRANVILLE NSW
Tue 14 Apr 2015 07:21 Processed through Australia Post facility SUNSHINE WEST VIC
Sun 12 Apr 2015 22:45 Shipping information received by Australia Post

To be fair, I think it is a multi-parcel consignment based on the email notifications I am getting.

I'm noticing that AusPost are using their Granville facility much more than they used to. AND a parcel would go through BOTH Granville AND Chullora. I don't know why, especially when they recently doubled the size of the Chullora facility to make it a mega centre.

A parcel arrived today, having been posted on Wednesday. Went through Chullora. I guess you win some and lose some. I'm chalking this up as a win.

I think they are using Granville more as a Central Sydney Metro receiving point now. Everything used to go through Chullora and then to the smaller mail centres to go for local delivery. With the obvious capacity issues at Chullora they seem to be pushing more through Granville in order to keep some load off (splitting normal mail direct to local PO's), and then only sending percels to Chullora for local delivery.

If it comes from another Bulk Parcel Centre (Port Mebourne) then it goes direct to Chullora. Mine was two separate packages, one sent via Rowville and the other sent from Sunshine. These are 'general' mail centres so it heads to Granville first to be joined as a consignment and forwarded to Chullora.

Mind you, the other half's CRC order got caught up in Customs just before Easter - sat there for 10 days.... And yes, it was bulk-shipped to Chullora and then 'posted' from there.

Must have only gone through Chullora. Granville adds at least 24 hours.
