Australia Day Lamb Advertisements

I've seen comments online that it trivialises the concerns about the occupation of Australia by invading colonists AND others that is a a laundry list of political correct causes masquerading as genuine concerns.

Something that @^#%$&@ off people across the spectrum cannot be all bad! :)

I like it... only thing... the "original inhabitants" don't look very, um, original but what do I know?

Mate, I'm positive colourful language is accepted within reason, so please, let the full extent of your vocabulary run free :)

The only thing it says to me is to cook up some meat lollipops and share it with those that call this place home, be the original Australians, those of us here for numerous generations, or more recent arrivals.

Not a bad effort, respectful without political correctness stifling it.
Indeed, we all either arrived by boat (air boat for some) or our descendent did :)

Did I get it wrong or are the Brits the only ones, who didn't bring anything to the party :D :D :D

Worst lamb ad ever. As if an inner city lefty would eat lamb. They are all vegans ffs.although being a free handout they didn't have to work for might sway them somewhat .

Concur; hits the nail on the head! Multicultural, Aussie humour, best country in the world for a barbie and a game of backyard cricket! Anyone who doesn't like our Australia Day lamb ads is a WOWSER, a WOWSER I say!!
OR they could be Vegan :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:.

I couldn’t finish it. They can’t all be winners I suppose. Musicals and politics aren’t really attractive qualities for me and most people I woul think.

I think we should pretend the 2018 ad didn't happen. The others felt fun which helped sell lamb, this just makes me cringe and I had forgotten it was even trying to sell something after it finished.

Seems that Sam might think the same - he has moved on ....
