Hey guys, I'm 36 and starting to get hair sprout from my ear lobes and from the edge of that cartilage but in the middle of the ear as well as a bit of nose hair.

I've always had fine short hair on my ears but over the last year or so it's slowly getting thicker and darker and I find it really embarrassing.

I bought a nose hair trimmer for $1;from China a while back, it's pretty crappy but it does chop all the hairs down gradually after a bit of work. I've used it on my ears a few times but it just makes short spikey hairs that are more noticeable.

The only thing I can think if is waxing but I have no idea about the types of waxes or strips or if there is ones for men etc.

Just after a bit of info on how other people deal with this if they have the same problem.

Cheers.

I just use scissors... very carefully!
I've been thinking about one of those electric jobbies though.

Just pluck them.

Could always try one of these. I've been too worried about accidentally drilling through to my brain

I got the new wahl beard and hair trimmer that's been advertised on tv of recent. Noticed it came with a nose and ear trimming attachment and wow It feels weird having a hairless nostril.

Ear hair: Insert long tweezers through nose into ear. Pull.
Nose hair: Reverse procedure.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

By the way, my ENT doc says never to insert anything smaller than your elbow into your ear canal and throw away all your Q-tips.

To keep ears clean, ear clear spray works a treat. Just spray into ear and hold for a few seconds.

I found it keeps things clean with three uses per week (important for me as i use deep fitting IEM earphones).

Aggressively to assert my dominance, whilst staring at the competition parked at the traffic lights.

For the outside of the ears I use a Bic lighter. A flash and its gone, but don't hold the flame in one spot as it will burn you. I've seen this at the local barber who has a strong following of some seriously hairy apes. He's got a special gizmo he soaks in metho or some flammable fluid and he just dabs this over hair and its gone for a couple of weeks. Smooth as but do it before a shower as the smell of burning hair is present.

This requires a video.
