There's some particularly nice Japanese vintage razors on the bay at the moment.
Any chance of a link @UKSteve? You have some beauties so I'd love to see your picks. There's some particularly nice Japanese vintage razors on the bay at the moment.

I bought a razor from that euro seller once (he uses the same little stand in every picture) and I'll never buy from him again. Beautiful looking but deffinanty not shave ready and such bad micro pitting in the metal that it coundnt be honed. If it can't be honed by some of the masters here than it's junk. His other razors may be better but I won't take the chance again@UKSteve
What do you think of these 2

Is it me, or is there a lack of a link to the auction in said post?Lovely pair of NOS Mitsuon at the auctions at the minute, not a massive amount at the buy it now price of 300 AUD either. I’d have them if I didn’t already have one.
Here’s mine
I hope someone’s having a go for these, just over an hour left and they are at 90 AUD for the pair.
I've actually bought 2 razors from the same guys, a mint Iwasaki and a Henckels, both were definitely shave ready and comfortable. The Henckels had a bit of patina but the price was more than fair for what I got.I bought a razor from that euro seller once (he uses the same little stand in every picture) and I'll never buy from him again.
