I'm very happy to report i am at full wag, mousie. The handle is ever so comfy to hold in my paws, and the knot is extremely similar to my Yaqi tuxedo, as i expected. It eats soaps straight from the tub like no tomorrow...

You do get used to it - but when the initial return flight is cancelled and the one you are bumped onto is delayed ....

BTW - you will survive those sleepless nights!

DIY lemon myrtle oil/Sacred Earth

Surprisingly comfortable shave with the Karve F plate! I thought it would be way too much for me but it wasn't too aggressive and the efficiency was fantastic!

There's no raw skin feeling afterwards but it's not a daily setting for me even though the efficiency was very suitable for my coarse stubble.

Soap: Clubman Pinaud
Post: Floid SUAVE

Had to give this Spoiler blade a go in the Rex on its max setting. Combined with this no frills but dependable/capable soap (IMO), managed a super smooth three pass shave with no nicks or irritation. Happy days!​

I have a cold, sympathy welcome, but I also had a great shave!

This soap is pretty darn good and the Special Reserve cuts through even with a cold.

Penultimate use of this TOBS flavour and the badger was epic with it.
Used a Derby extra blade of which I have 2 more left. Very ruff face feel afterwards so thinking these are a one and done blade.
The Floid is resisting finishing somehow. Does my wife add water to it overnight? I’d doubt it since she told me about a month ago that she isn’t a fan!

A great shave this morning bbs finish and no irritation of any kind with everything just falling into place.first wear of the sycamore and I really like it so far it opens with a lot of sandalwood to my very amateur nose and settles to a smooth vetiver and light floral background that has an uncanny resemblance to bay city.not the same but well within the same postcode to my nose.they most likely share nothing in common at all but thats just how i percieve it.

Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- Lagerfeld Classic
