The day I have long awaited - we can now take advantage of the new SSL service called Let's Encrypt which issues free, short term SSL certificates to encrypt all web traffic to & from the site.
This will require a short upgrade to our server, and should not cause any downtime. From there there will be some configuration and due to our specific webserver configurations it might break things once I implement it. Please be aware that if the site goes down, then it is because we are implementing & fixing!
As always, notices regarding site availability, downtimes and updates are posted on our Twitter and Facebook pages. I will update this thread once we have a implementation window.
