My favourite soap is the Wilkinson Blue shave stick, grated and compressed into a recycled LPL container.
It delivers an excellent lather for a much reduced outlay than that of others such as TOBS, etc; but each to his own! If you haven't tried Wilkinson Blue, do yourself a favour !

Advice of an Australian vendor would be greatly appreciated.

That's is where I buy my Palmolive Classic shave stick European version, there is Australia version which look like this below and you can buy them only at Coles only most stores do have them not all depends where you look.

Tried the Coles offering - ! I too prefer the European stick.
