Grandfathers Travel shave kit resurrected.

Mum and Dad are moving house for the first time in 45years. It's turning up some interesting stuff including my Grandfathers Shave kit. It was a bit tired so it have given it some polish, leather treatment and a general clean.

I then went about stocking it. The tube with the cap on has an Arko stick in it. Next, a brush that is too long so oh darn, looks like I need to buy a wee Scot. Thayers bottle isn't a great fit but does for illustration. I'm on the hunt for a better sized container for there.

I though you guys might appreciate seeing it.

It's great having wet shaving items that are connected to the family and so have a lot of value as heirlooms.

Probably would have come with a Tech in it - so the Slim is a step up!

Where you have the Thayers bottle would have been a brush most likely.

Keep an eye on eBay as these turn up fairly regularly. You might be able to pick up a lid for the second canister

I have a lid, just left it off because the brush was too long for it to fit on.
What was supposed to be in the canisters? Soap and a brush as I suspect??

Yeah, it looks similar to my two tix set I picked up in the UK. Mine has a soap box, brush, shaving brush, shaving soap, tech razor, tweezers, comb and mirror

Great - that is good. Yes the containers are for a soap stick and brush.
