Has anybody tried the Jack The Barber Classic synthetic brush 22/55mm knot is now half price for $5 instead of $10 at Woolworths, you better hurry before the brush goes back the full price at $10

I got it for $6 (40% off) 6 months ago. My first shave brush. Lacks density and backbone compared to a Yaqi plisson knot, but it's also 1/3 of the price too. You can make a decent lather with some work, but I almost never use mine now. Fwiw, it's better than the Body Shop brush.
 
I think mine is great & convinced me to convert to synthetic brushes. I use badger & boar brushes and doubted a synthetic. This has great back bone, is splash and go, is so cheap you could use it for a week and be happy, and is great for a travel brush. I paid $6 for it and the same for the shave cream at Woolies, an absolute bargain. I slao got one for my son who is learning to straight shave. The one thing I really like about it is that it is perfect for triple milled soaps and it makes a rich lather with no effort.
