What is the date people? It takes three days to open a new thread around here?

OK, OK, I've been away, sorry.

Post your cool November shaving purchases here though - with pics where possible!

Spending the kids inheritance.

'All things nice'. Spiced sandlewood and honey shaving soap from Whisper in the woods. Great performing soap. Whipped up into a great lather with the badger and then boar. Cushioning and good residual slickness. Great post feel with lanolin like MWF. I get jersey caramel lollies from the scent. The Mrs did well to get this Aussie artisan soap.

Leaving my contact details with vintage shops finally paid off. This is a complete, great condition gold Aristocrat #19 set and an English HD Rocket in an incorrect but beautiful condition bakelite case. $200 cash all up. Obviously these weren’t steals like some of my earlier buys but I’m really happy with what I paid.

Any suggestions what the bakelite case would have originally held?

Enjoy the STF.

That H1 looks awesome! I still feel the BEST grade hair from Simpson is the most unique in the market.
It goes beyond density and gel tips, which is what all other brush makers try to differentiate with their knots.
