I've tried the Tiger platinum blades made from the Czech Republic, they're okay just not the best top blades against the Russian's and the Tiger platinum are cheaper than the Russian's.

FYI below @TroyTools these are all these blades I've tried, remember YMMV because everybody is different

Very interesting list, Speedmaster. I agree with many of your ratings, but as you say, YMMV.

I bought one of these a while ago. I know the dimensions are listed but I didn't realise just how big this brush was until i actually had it in my hand. It's a good brush but found it just too big for me.

The missus loves it though, she uses it for shaving her legs as the 30mm knot doesn't take long to soap them up.

Yes I'm a little concerned about this, hence the additional 26mm brush to get free shipping. However, I like big boars, like my Omega 48s and big badgers too, so I suspect I will probably like Big Bertha here. We shall see!

I also need to work my way through a lot of soap. Using a small synth would increase the duration of an already lengthy task...

On a slightly unrelated note...I got my wife a Braun Silk Epil9 epilator and she said it's the best thing ever!

Better than waxing cos it's less hassle and less pain.
Also much better than shaving cos epilator keeps skin clear for full 2-3 weeks!
