Options for buying AC blades?

I'll send some of those free to anyone who wants them.
No worries @Gargravarr I don't have an SE yet anyway.
But one is planned so was just checking out the various blades.
As the SE blades are thicker than a DE blade can I just quietly hone them on my 8000 grit waterstone to renew an edge?
Or use my diamond paste board?
Just a thought, as I have no idea about the AC style SE blades.

It might be possible if you have nifty little fingers. There's not much to hold on to, so I think it would be a challenge...

Edit: personally, I wouldn't attempt it

Agree, just blade bin them like a normal DE.

@Blackie if you want to increase blade life, flip the blade and wipe clean after use. There is honing to both sides of the blade edge same as a DE.

It's worth mentioning that for most people, the good brands last a long time. In my case, they last 2 to 3 times as long as a comparable DE blade, and some people apparently get 30 or more shaves out of a blade. I get nowhere near that, but I shave a lot more area than most.
