Took my razors down to Men's Shed on the weekend to discuss how I should go about this. While I played pool and drank instant coffee (yuck) the blokes made this. Another straight turning up shortly to "join the team".

Niiiiice. Hmmm...you have more razors than your posts betray @Dale.Whiley

Unless the edges of the stainless steel are really rounded off and polished, it will scratch precious razors @alfredus.

I guess rounded and polished it has to be then ;)

Hmmmm...can kinda understand the appeal of a stainless stell kitchen, but I fear @alfredus might have this obsession stretch to the bathroom....brrrrrr

If it would be up to me, I'd have a stainless kitchen and a stainless bathroom - but it is not and I have neither :(

For me it is about practicality - easy to clean, almost indestructible and you don't have worry about cleaning products and be afraid of moisture...

Wood in the bathroom wouldn't last very long with me - I am a real wet shaver

Thanks mate, but for anyone who's been a member on this forum for a year or more would have more than 4 DEs.* We'd need something that held more DEs, some SEs, straights, etc.

*except @Drubbing but he is P&C's anomaly

Found an off-cut from when we replaced our kitchen benchtop and decided that it would make a suitable razorack.

Drilled a few 13mm holes and put a coat of Danish oil on it. Not too bad I reckon, but will need another coat before it's ready for the bathroom
