Although never having tried one, I always thought that those razors were RSOs. It is interesting that you could hone it to a shavable condition. What was the shave like?
Aliexpress Chi-Na 13/16 Half Hollow
26mm SHD HMW Badger
A&E "Peach & Cognac"
I was able to hone it so that it passes the HHT. My two-pass shave (WTG + XTG) was comfortable and I ended up with a DFS. I bought six of these for $48 delivered because I liked the Red Beechwood scales and I figured that the worse case scenario is that I toss the blades in the recycling bin and reuse the scales. I have no idea how long they can hold an edge. The advertised hardness factor is 59-61. Only time will tell.Although never having tried one, I always thought that those razors were RSOs. Hope you're feeling better soon @Gargravarr . Sook??!! That man flu is a killer. That's not sook it's being realistic. Hope the Smokey Lavender helped.
Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: TroyCraft "Polar Nebula" 28mm AP Titanium
Soap: Pb Smokey Lavender
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: TND witch hazel, and done.
COTD: None, back to bed.
I've been down with a lurgy for the last few days. It's been a very long time since the last one (I missed out on the COVID fashion) so I'm being a total sook about it. So a quick two passes with my autopilot razor, shower and back to bed...
Love that brush to bits.

Thank you. I strongly recommend you avail yourself of @TroyTools' consummate workmanship. I'm sure postage to Singapore would be negligible...Love that brush to bits.
