Maybe not quite as efficient as the Sabre but a damn fine shave off this vintage razor. Vying for my SOTW.

Cat was trying to get in the SOTD action this morning and had to get side shifted a couple of times.

Not the most smoothest of shaves with the SB side being a tad more aggresive than the OC side. Might try the Voskhod in the 103 OC for comparisons next shave...? Still managed a DFS with one small nick on the adams apple :)

Decent blade...got 50 of them with the leaf razor so thought I'd try one in the Karve.
The shave was DFS+ but it was just a bit tuggy in the rough areas.

@Nico
I've now lost my $130 on the leaf razor!
Used it on my wife's legs today and she said it's the best, most comfortable shave she's ever had!!

She's used several DE and just as many carts but she loved the leaf from the first stroke!

She asked if she can have the razor...I'm not stupid enough to say no given how supportive she is of my hobby!
So the leaf is now officially hers and I'm back to the Karve for my daily shaves.

I did think to order another one but given I will continue to use the Karve most days, it doesn't make much sense for me to do so.

Bellissimo! I'm really not sure what yesterday was about. I kept the same setup for a third day because I don't like ending on a downer - it came good again today.

Very much enjoying this soap and even though it is not currently being made due to an ingredient shortage, I don’t feel bad about uploading plenty of soap.
Also can’t get over how great this Nivea stuff makes my face feel. Might be a great option to always have on hand and when it dries, a little of something else with some staying power such as APR gives the right balance of face feel and scent.

Party on at the GP this weekend. 🏎

Well similar results to my last shave. It appears the blade doesn't shave as smooth as I'm used to, slightly rough especially inder the nose. I will try it again in something less adventures, e.g my Merkur 34C... Happy shaves!
