At the insistence of @astinus4 had to break out the Palmolive Stick. Very nice slick lather, quick to dry out though and a very nice post shave feel.
Been a while since I came close to single pass BBS. In this instance it's a FDS Fine Damn Shave. @astinus4 will get the pun.

There you go, new paste and cut vernacular - Fine Damn Shave 😂

Post: PAA Atomic Rocket Bay Rum travel splash // Stirling Soap Co. Unscented balm

A somewhat disappointing pre-work shave this morning as the razor shaved super smooth but on closer inspection I missed a bit on my chin. Otherwise very comfortable and enjoyable.
As for the soap, I'm not enjoying the new formula as much as my previous tin and being a puck makes for some challenging lathering so will try grating it down into a tub and see whether it performs as well? A real shame as Mikes is quality soap. :( Also the scent is quite mild which sucks as I love me some Bay Rum. On the plus side the splash smells great and the balm leaves my skin soft and hydrated... Happy shaves!

I am constantly amazed at the incredible photos on here.

Have you guys all done some sort of shaving product photography course?!

How do you get the lighting right. I always seem to get constant shadows on whatever I take pics of

I can barely take a selfie :(

Some look to be definitely done by DSLR, but the phone in your hand these days can take some great pics.

Light source is always key, keep light either above or behind you and shining towards your subject.

What people don't see is that there might have been 20 pics and that 1 that is posted is the best of 20.. Photography is fun when you get that 1 smashing shot.

I used to do events, and you'd snap 4000 pics, out of the 4000, you would have 600-900 that were fantastic and make the day for the person. Thats not saying the other 3000 are bad, but not as good as those top pics.

Get your phone out, check its settings have go have some fun!

Seriously, EVERYONE should have bay rum in their collection - and a @Tony Forsyth brush of course!

Thanks - a very brief window of opportunity between storms on Sunday.
