Chanced upon these while lurking on stuff that I tell myself I shouldn't buy but end up spending way too much time looking at.

Good effort for a tastefully machined handle, obviously an interpretation of barberpole. One in 304 stainless and other in brass.

I have the Stainless steel version. Great handle, only wish it was 316L, came in polished finish and had deeper grooves. It has great balance, weight and grip though

Ah, I didn't realise it was a copy.

At those prices... can't expect the world I guess.
Chinese companies loves copying and cloning other people products, because, they don’t care about the copyright laws in there own country is all about MONEY!!! and POWER!!! nothing else.

The Chinese do not consider this copying. To them it's Innovation, for the fact that they have been able to improve upon an original design by making it more affordable.
That's a generous characterisation. Seems to me they couldn't give a damn if other people consider it to be a copy. If it looks "similar enough" to a quality brand to sell on the internet, that's good enough. If they were serious about copying, I imagine they should have the technical capability to do so accurately enough to make their product function as well as the original. The fact that they almost never take the trouble to do so just serves to reinforce their reputation for shonkiness.
