I had to do it.
Looked too good to let it go.
Yeah, I know it will shave like a bag of bums, and the Karve/Timeless will just laugh at it...but I think I will enjoy the odd shave or two from it.
Haven't told SWG yet...may not yet either if I can sneak it in.
"What...this old thing"?
"I've had it for ages".
So, what naughty things have you lot been up to lately?

I figure it probably will shave very similar to my Black Beauty which I run on 9 normally.
But the Slim does look nice though.
Had a Fatboy (sold it), and think it will be good to try a Slim too.
If I don't like it I can always bung it on the BST.
I shaved this morning with the Karve #F (SB) plate and had a great shave (smooth and close, 2 pass).
I'm fairly sure the Slim won't be quite as good, but yeah...it's shiny! (I like shiny).

Have you tried a Blackland Dart? Smooth, aggressive and very handsome.

No not yet...but am doing a deal for a Blackbird OC at the moment.
But...until it's all sorted "my lips are sealed".
I think the Slim has just been cleaned a tad.
Won't know until I get my hands on it.
Bought it here in NZ.
Is described as...
"Gillette slim adjustable safety razor. Great condition in perfect working order. Date coded G 4 = manufactured 1961 - 4th quarter.
This is a beautiful razor to add to your collection..."

Slim arrived today.
Looks even better than the photo shows.
Bright, clean, and shiny, everything clicks that should click, etc.
Doesn't seem to have been used much.
It will get a run tomorrow. If it shaves about the same as my Black Beauty I may not keep it!
The BB was given to me years ago by my old cobber...can't let that one go.
The Slim will need to earn it's keep, or it will hit the BST.
