What's for dinner?

I’m having extra extra girth for breakfast today

images

I can use that for a full week of breakfasts, and some stuff like the beans would not be touched. That's too much for me even for a full meal
What chili sauce were you using, speedymice?

I don’t touch the American hot chilli sauce, otherwise, I’ll fart twice as hard and loud after I’ve finished the baked beans.

I won’t be having dinner tonight after a full plate of extra extra girth’s, hopefully around midnight, tonight, I’ll sitting at the toilet bowl screaming out loud like James’s EXTRA BROWN!!! after I’ve flushed out all the extra extra girth’s today.

Would you like to come join me singing out loud like James’s Brown in bathroom with me, so you can pass me over the extra toilet roll, on standby and some air o fresher so I can breathe better and smells cleaner

Well I can promise you @SpeedyPC that the smell when I wake up in the morning will be DELICIOUS!

@Mark1966 the only thing I can fault is your choice in BBQ sauce.

There are so many sauces that run circles around Stubbs.

If you like something a little sweeter, try 3 little Pigs BBQ sauce, for something Savoury try Lillies Carolina BBQ Sauce (vinegar based).

They'll blow your mind.

I have been sticking to Woollies options, Sweet Baby Ray's, Bull's Eye or the Stubbs - I might have to lash out to get something specialist!

BBQ's Galore sells 3 little pigs, about $15 a bottle, but you don't use much. I glaze my ribs with it on the smoker. If I ever change up the sauce the family all know and start complaining straight away.

Looks bloody disgusting dog food

OK then none for you …

Gee whiz, don’t want my meat, don’t want
my blades - you are a hard man to please!

Leftovers for you @SpeedyPC -

I may be trying to do a sabbatical but only means more money for goodies like this.
I need a decent slow cooker though, stupid thing the mrs got does hot or scolding and will have anything “done” in 2hrs on low, inverted commas because if it stays in any longer its for the dog

For those of us who don't have a decent slow-combustion stove, there is an alternative. You could always go to a camping shop and get a Furphy or other kind of cast-iron Dutch oven. Last time I looked, it was about $20, but that was a long time ago, and you never need to do it more than once. Just dig a deepish hole in your bank yard, drop lots of hot coals in, plonk your pot on top, cover with more hot coals and leave. Easy-peasy.

They also work quite well in the oven if you don't want to dig a hole in your lawn. I've used mine a few times like that.

I've been using Dinnerly for the past few months and have really enjoyed their meals. I was with Hello Fresh for years but their recipes became very repetitive. It seemed like their meals were the same thing every week. The final straw was when they were finding chicken hard to get so in two meals they replaced it with salmon in one and honey soy tofu in an another. Seriously tofu? even my chooks wouldn't eat it.

Dinnerly meals are very simple (which the wife prefers and take only 5 steps to make. I do all the cooking and working 10 hour days so after getting home at 6pm, 30 minutes later I can have dinner cooked and sitting down to eat.
