Yesterday I almost had no bear, the combination of Timeless 0.95 oc + feather is so great, I agree with you @Nico , this is a killing choice!
Now I can have a better idea of this Talbot, a really nice soap (longer phrases about it soon in the appropiate thread). Last night, snow, this morning, Sunny - rainy-sunny-windy..., afternoon same pattern... today's night, more snow. Well, that's the changing of season, so I went to Velours Noir

May the force Shave with you!

Last two SOTD - Merkur 37C & Timeless Bronze + Rockwell blade. Both great shaves with fabulous results using the Tabula Rasa post shower :) Finished off with some TSW balm  Happy shaves!

Brush: ER /TGN Finest Fan
Soap: Williams
Razor: Ever Ready Lather Catcher
Blade: Gem Blue Star (carbon)
Post: Stirling Grapefruit

A newly acquired ER Lather Catcher. Nice shave, more manageable than a Star 1902 but more efficient than a Gem Junior bar, I would say.

Pre: Pb Pre Shave Emulsion
Soap: Phoenix 'The Kiss'
Brush: Zenith Boar
Razor: TI Rose Pattern
AS: Phoenix 'The Kiss'
First run of The Kiss. Very nice soap, lathers easily and feels very nice on the face. I think the Kokum makes for not quite so glossy a lather but that's not really a down side as there are some nice base oils in there i.e. Shea, Avocado..... that make for a rich lather that leaves the skin feeling good.
@oddlypeculiar . I was initially put off by the sweetness which made me think it was going to be one dimensional but the ingredients piqued my interest and I went back for more. There's plenty of depth and interest there though it does remind me a little of musk lifesavers, but there's a lot more going on than that. I also like that it's an exclusive for The Stray Whisker.
The other consideration for me was I have a couple of PAA soap/aftershave sets that I cannot use around my wife as the scent gives her an instant headache. 'The Kiss' didn't seem to produce that reaction so I thought I'd give it a go.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE Platypus shaving brush
Soap/Cream: Wholly Kaw / The Club Madison Avenue LE 2017 NYC Meet Up shaving soap
Razor: Vintage Eclipse Red Ring
Blade: Personna 'Lab Blue' (1)
Post-shave: Wholly Kaw / The Club Madison Avenue LE 2017 NYC Meet Up aftershave splash
Fragrance: N/A

Nice to be home, slipped a new blade in the Red Ring and a great shave

Prep: Cold shower
Brush: Vulfix old original pure badger
Soap: Squadron Dispatch Rider
Razor: Merkur 37c slant
Blade: Feather (2)
Post: Omega Alum stick, Proraso crema liquida dopobarba

Three passes (WTG, ATG x 2) = BBS. I usually don't aim for BBS, but the urge just struck me today as I had a two day growth to get through. Great lather and protection from the Dispatch Rider soap, but still plenty of irritation picked up by the alum, particularly on the neck. Probably to be expected after doing two ATG passes. The proraso balm soothed everything very quickly though.

Pre: Warm water, Crew oil
Razor: Timeless, 0.95 scalloped base plate
Blade: Feather
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk2
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Fine Snake Bite
Post: Proraso Green Lotion

The Snake Bite lathered up a storm, created lots of thick smooth lather. Once applied performed very well followed by a massive menthol hit. As usual the Timeless paired with a Feather blade gave a comfortable shave, one pass and touch up for a DFS. Finished up with Proraso green for that extra chill.
Have a good week gents.

The blonde woman on the right is wondering how much longer her man is going to be staring at this artwork!
Her arms are definitely folded :LOL:

I think he's telling his Mrs he's going to try out a straight razor, his Mrs is saying OK then, but if you buy that I'm getting a new pair of shoes and a matching bag.:D

A/ That is a fantastic pic - so funny....
B/ you are both (@tim33z and @Jamie) so so correct....

The blonde woman crossing her arms is telling her husband. Don’t even think about wet shaving hobby dear, otherwise you’ll get yourself caught out on having too many soaps, brushes, straight razors, double edge razors, de blades and the list goes on and on and on. OR otherwise I’ll leave you for good and get divorced, and I’ll take the kids with me.
