The large bag is 1kg of random soap seconds/end of run etc for $30.

Men's grooming bar is a sample. Supposed to be a one soap does all body/hair/shave. But is it a jack of all trades, master of none? We will see.

That deodorant has me interested, have you tried it before ? How does it perform 'on the job' ?

I missed it in a BST and I remember you mentioning how good it was so I thought I would dive into a couple of tubs, a really nice fragrance from the puck and it has that 'this is going to make a seriously good lather' look about it.

Might have swapped for the MdC I missed 'cause SOMEBODY swooped on it.

Oh, and 'some Italian soap' that they got as well ;)

From my recollection of events, you in fact encouraged me to do the swooping, so needs-must in this instance and I further recollect you already have a tub of said Italian soap picked up in person during one of your European sojourns.

I feel some slight, if fleeting regret now using my dexterity and youth to in effect pounce on the two prize items in the offered lot if that's any consolation.

I have taken a bit of a shine to 'that Italian soap' as upon closer inspection, it seems to be an excellent soap which I am really eager to use, it has a very subtle and nuanced nose from the tub which is always a good sign and a consistency much like AdP in the tub. I pounced on the MdC I have a Fougère on order from them and due to the costs, could not afford both the original and the one I ordered.

No, I've not used these before but if you believe the marketing it's been tested and proven. I've been using an unscented Men's Science one for a while, which IS very good but it is also very expensive. I saw these on the web site priced very well I thought to give them ago. At this time of year I will know very quickly.

Well I encouraged you to take a second bite. Your 'dexterity and youth' had already seen you jump on the most prized of the spoils and I was left to pick up the Valobra crumbs. Generous of me really not to corner the SMN market though. :)

Don't worry, I will eek out my remaining MdC for a little while still ...

I checked it out a bit more last night, they have not included an anti-perspirant compound in it for whatever reason so I am not sure how it will perform out on the park, or on 'the workbench' for that matter.

No they haven't, you will still sweat. Nothing wrong with that unless you are prone to "wet spots" but a singlet will help there. The smell comes from the bacteria, not the sweat. It is anit-oderant, not a anti-perspirant. At least with the Mens Science one, it is designed to kill the bacteria the live on the sweat and create the stink (not cover it up - deoderant) whilst allowing the body to do what it does naturally. Post training ride today all smelt good but not a rigorous test as it was only 1.75hrs duration.

It was a little quiet today, just a Valobra Cologne puck and actually as someone trounced me on a recent BST and some EO's.

The property market has been quite hot before Australia day, limiting my internet time this week :(
