Badger brush bristles keep dropping out

Cheap brush with low grade "Pure Badger" hair, probably has no backbone to speak of. Ditch it and get a nice two band, or better yet, get a nice boar brush.

Well it had an 88% 5 star rating so I figured it was worth a try...any ideas on where to get a nice affordable boar brush? I'm residing in Singapore now unfortunately.

Have a look at Maseto shaving on Ebay:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/classicshop2012/

Not only are the 2-band brushes exceptionally well made for this price point, but the seller also stands behind his products. I know it from personal experience, as the first brush I got from them was shedding and I got a new one.

The reason why you pay for a brush a premium (besides hand turned handles) is the consistency and quality of the knot (you know what you are getting, glue bumps, etc.) and the after market service.

If you can wait a few weeks for delivery. They have the full range but this is a good cheap brush and mine has lasted 3 years daily use and only shed a few hairs. Paint does peel eventually but I sanded mine down to the wood. They have unpainted wood, resin and metal handles as well. Cannot go wrong with Semogue or Omega for affordable quality.

That works, this looks nice!

Thanks for the help guys. I was mainly looking at the SG site since shipping from there is probably going to be the cheapest/fastest. Unfortunately they appear to be out of omega brushes. Think this is the cheapest brush they have at the moment : https://www.doubleedgeshavingplace.com/product/semogue1305

How does semogue compare to omega?
Not in the same league. Semogue's rapidly become wet noodle like after break in in my experience.

I had 12 of them. All sold or given away. Nice looking, but complete rubbish after regular use.

Get a Synthetic. Better than anything else for performance. Makes more lather, easier and quicker, using less product.
