I had a Boti white horsehair knot in a now-destroyed Forgotten Art handle. I never did get rid of the smell of the horse's ass before Mme G flicked the brush off the washbasin with her towel.

Nearly two weeks out from surgery and it's ahead slow. Recovery is frustrating enough for a minor procedure, I'm not putting my hand up for major surgery anytime soon. Of course I got the obligatory head cold from my short hospital stay, because they want to maintain fridge conditions, just to sweeten the deal. That then translated to cold sores which makes shaving miserable. The General comes to the rescue for which I was very thankful. The General just makes it all a little easier to manage.

It gives an unusual kind of lather, it doesn't develop that gloss I get from other soaps, but it still seems slick enough. Some lavender EO soaps can be a bit strident, but this just smells like the flowers, and the scent just keeps coming throughout the shave.
