Soap Challenge

So @stillshunter sent me 3 samples of soaps and asked me to try and work out what they are; so I decided to shave with each and give my thoughts.

Trying to use the same equipment for each shave and bowl lather each.

First shave was with C; two pass shave using Ikon Shavecraft 101 (closed side only), Romero Synthetic brush and bowl lathered.

This is going to be tougher than I thought. I thought about cheating and going through all of @stillshunter shave of the days to try and work out what it is but it would take to long.

Thoughts on soap C.

It lathers easily. It has a floral scent that is not overly strong ( I get lavender, vanilla and a hint of spice). Shave was good and the soap preformed well.

Trying to describe a scent from scratch does not come easily to me.

As for a guess on the brand, I have no idea but it is a good preforming soap.

Looking at the samples, their will be more than enough to pass on if anyone else wants to take the challenge

Stick to Good, Better, Best. Unless they're staples with distinct scents such as Tabac or dare I say it Arko, I personally wouldn't have a chance in hell.

Well all three are quite far apart, not only in scent but also origin - none is from the same continent. As for performance, now that might be a harder one to decypher
