Well, I've already posession of the traditional Fougere in A/S, which a fair few people here have had a chance to sniff.
I can see where the modern fougeres were influenced.
It's modern rendition is a relative, yet not as close as siblings, perhaps cousins.
The original to me at least, is warmer.

Nice. Where did you get from?
I've just put an order in for the Spitfire from Maggards. Along with some Mikes.
Straight from Kerry of Phoenix and Beau, they have some stock now. It was schedule for release on 28th of may. Being the casual patient non impulsive buyer that I am (BIG FAT LIAR), I wait for the release time and quickly snapped two. It was sold out the next day. But last week it was back in stock.

Got them both about aud $50 delivered

Took delivery of the three Shaver Heaven seasonal releases on Monday plus a couple of vegan soaps to bump it up to the $80 free shipping. Choc delight has been on my radar for a while and yes, smells so good I want to eat it. The other is Edens Garden ($8!). So that's the next five days shaving soaps decided. Started with Vanilla Oaky today
I agree re choc delight

Both smell amazing. Looking forward to trying out the Tallow V3 formula.
Thanks, @Anthony.

@TomG what ever you do during you're wet shaving never try and eat both soaps made by @Anthony why? his soaps always make me very hungry and I thought @Anthony was making a food soap............. @Anthony where is my sheep tallow ;):p:D

@TomG , the Oatmeal Stout; the scent not "sweet" or "sugary"? From the name of the soap I would think more of a "earthy, natural" scent. If that is the case I might have to try.
G'day @Dale.Whiley - it is a sweet scent, with some coffee and cream notes. I'm yet to lather it up, so others may be able to comment further.
To pick up on the comments of @SpeedyPC, the Oatmeal Stout really does smell good enough to eat.

Mail call!

P&B Spitfires + Sankrit sample.

Both fantastic scents. It's weird how the soap is not stuck onto the bowl. I can't wait to give it a go tomorrow.

Looking very much forward hearing your thoughts and seeing the lather (y)
